Give us your
commitment... Social reform
starts from personal example. Think about the foods you eat,
the clothes you wear, the footwear you use. The wallet, the
belt, the sweater. Make sure they have not caused any
suffering to any creature. That circus you frequent, that zoo
you take your children to; educate yourself about how these
are run. Resolve not to use any animal products: use the
cruelty-free list in our book. Remember, your demand drives
all the supply.

...your time, energy, and
skills
...
as a consumer: For products you
decide not to use, inform their manufactures—each week at
least one—of your decision and reason. Similarly, write to
companies that are listed with us and whose products you are
using, congratulating them for staying vegetarian. Remember,
such encouragement from consumers is very important in shaping
company's policies.
Organise publicised screenings of
our video Beauty Without Cruelty at any forum in your
town: schools, colleges, societies, clubs. This is the best
way of spreading the cause.
...As a
volunteer: Take a look at
our volunteer's
form, and offer to help out in any of the categories
mentioned: a field worker, as a writer, a creative designer,
as an interpreter/translator, etc. We have perpetual need of
people to help us
voluntarily.

...Or your
resources Unfortunately,
creating awareness and bringing about change is an expensive
process. The cost of getting the simplest colour leaflet
printed in bulk runs into many tens of thousands. We need
funds for making effective films, filing lawsuits, producing
websites. Donate
generously and avail of Income Tax exemption under Section
80-G.
